Brand Photography Contract & Services Agreement

$267

$397

The Brand Photography contract was written especially for us by my very own attorney, who specializes in working with creative small business owners. Together, we came up with the best possible contract template for you to plug & play with your own clients, so you can stop sweating over whether or not your bum is sufficiently covered.

You AND your clients deserve to feel fully confident in every agreement you sign. Don’t book another brand session without this contract in place.

Been looking for your Big Girl Pants? Here they are. Because “tweaking” your existing wedding or portrait photography contract *doesn’t cut it* when it comes to commercial photography gigs. (Trust me, your clients can tell).

Inside this contract template, you’ll find…

Options for assigning a Commercial Release (allowing client to use photographs for marketing purposes) or a “Right Buyout” (where client purchases + owns the copyright)

A detailed breakdown of fees & payments, including charging for additional hours, travel fees, and services outside the scope of your original agreement

A Model Release, to ensure you have the ability to use your work for your own marketing purposes.

Language outlining Client responsibilities, so you don’t find yourself wondering how you got roped into doing all those little tasks that were *not* in your defined services

A Limitation of Liability clause, as well as sections outlining postponement, rescheduling, and (it happens) termination of the contract.

And so much more!

Your contract will be delivered to your inbox by our attorney in a full-editable Word doc, ready to copy + paste into your favorite CRM software.

As always, hire an attorney in your state to review any document you intend to sign.

Q: Will I have access to updates?
A: Yes! Because you’ll receive the template straight from our attorney, she’ll have the ability to send updates to the contract as they’re made.

Q: Can’t I just tweak my existing wedding/portrait photography contract?
A: I tried that, and I can’t begin to tell you how embarrassing it was when a dream branding client told me “it looks like you sent me the wrong contract- is this for wedding clients?” There’s too much at stake here, and you’ve worked too hard to build your small business. Your contract is your FIRST line of defense if anything ever goes south, and if you’re re-using a contract that wasn’t written for commercial clients… you’re playing with fire.

Q: Do I need to have an attorney review this?
A: This contract was draft by an attorney who specializes in working with creative small business owners. However, you should always engage an attorney in your state to review any document you intend to sign.

Q: Can I ask your lawyer questions about the contract after I’ve purchased?
A: Purchase of the Brand Photography Contract does not constitute a client/attorney relationship. You may make changes to the document yourself; we strongly suggest you engage an attorney in your state to assist with that process.
